Q. How do I register?

A. The preferred method of registration is through our online form. It will be available here when registration is open for 2018. We expect to open registration by November 2017.

Q. When does the parade start?

A. 11:30am.

Q. When should we assemble if we are marching?

A. Staging for all parade entries is promptly at 10:30am.

Q. Where do we assemble if we are marching?

A. The staging area is Lot K. It is the large gravel lot located on Clinton Street across from the Post Office. For more information check out the route page. If you are using GPS to find the location, use address 620 Clinton Avenue, Huntsville, AL 35801.

Q. When will I find out my parade placement?

A. You will receive an email a few days before the parade that will give you a lineup number. When you arrive at the staging area find the orange cone with that number.

Q. What is the parade route?

Q. How long is the parade route?

A. The parade route this year is approximately 1.8 miles long. Please plan accordingly.

Q. Do we have to be Irish to march?

NO! Just Irish for the day will do.

Q. Do we HAVE to wear green?

It's not required but highly encouraged.

Q. Are we allowed to hand out items?

Yes, but NO throwing. They must be handed out through hand contact. We recommend that you designate some volunteers to walk along the side, close to the curb for easy access to spectators. You MAY NOT invite spectators into the street you must go to them.

Q. Are there restrooms available at the parade staging area?

YES! This year, thanks to sponsorship from Straight to Ale, there will be a limited number of porta potties available at the staging area for parade participants.

Q. How can I identify Parade Staff?

Thanks to our presenting sponsor, Straight to Ale, we are going to have bright yellow, clearly marked vests for easy identification. We will also have an information tent at the staging area located at Lot K (620 Clinton Avenue, Huntsville AL 35801)

Q. Will there be water available in the staging area for parade participants?

We plan to sell water at the parade information tent in the staging area for $1 per bottle.
